Instructor of Hip-Hop, Jazz Dance, and Contemporary Dance
Ana Carolina Gonzalez grew up in El Paso, Texas, and trained at D’ansa Jazz Stage, an international dance studio for 7 years. She became a teacher’s assistant at the age of 14 and later a teacher/choreographer at the age of 15. Carolina has experience in teaching the disciplines of Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Contemporary and had also choreographed pieces for and competed in conventions/competitions such as Hip Hop International, Nuvo, Jump, The Dance Revolution, and many more. Additionally, Carolina trained along with DJS Team from Chihuahua, Mexico, and with Connection Crew, who participated in NBC's World of Dance TV show. She was a member of FingerPrint Crew at Hip Hop International Mexico, placing First in the Varsity category and advancing to worlds in which they placed ninth in the Hip Hop World Championship. Carolina was also awarded “Dancer of the year 2016” in D’ansa Jazz Stage, and scholarships in Jump Dance Convention, The Dance Revolution Artist of the year Scholarship, FOCUS Dance Training Full Scholarship, and the Dance Revolution Outstanding Scholarship. Carolina moved to Texas to pursue her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at San Antonio as an Art Major.
