Kitner Schetlick is an experienced and dynamic dance instructor currently based in San Antonio, Texas. She brings a strong technical foundation, a passion for performance, and a versatile teaching background to the classroom. Originally from New Jersey, Kitner trained extensively in ballet and contemporary, while also studying hip hop and tap. She went on to dance at the collegiate level with the hip hop-based team at the College of Charleston and taught acro at a local Charleston studio during that time.
Kitner has experience teaching and choreographing for all ages and levels. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, giving her a natural strength in working with young dancers, but she is equally comfortable teaching older students and advanced performers. She previously served as the head coach of the Wando High School dance team, leading competitive routines and team training before relocating to Texas to further her own dance career.
Currently, Kitner is a performer with the San Antonio Spurs and teaches contemporary jazz fusion at a local studio. She is actively looking to expand her teaching and choreography work in the San Antonio area and is available for regular classes, workshops, and competition choreography. Her diverse background, professional performance experience, and approachable teaching style make her a strong asset to any studio team.
