Congratulations to DCSA Student Lucy Hassmann
Lucy Hassmann invited to prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow for year-long traineeship!
Lucy Hassmann has been training with Mrs Bessler for over ten years. Acceptance into the Bolshoi Ballet Academy traineeship program is the fulfillment of a dream she has had since she was a child.
Lucy’s accomplishments include:
YAGP awards: Top 12 for nine years, top award Youth Grand Prix (2018), 1st place (2019), NYC Finals (2017-2020), European finals (Paris, 2019)
Representing USA-IBC Jackson (2018) as the youngest Texan ever selected
Chosen for VP-IBC (St. Petersburg, Russia)
Platinum medal ADC (2019)
Awarded over 35 scholarships to train in the US and Europe.
Lucy is a member of NHSDA secondary chapter at DCSA and trains in DCSA’s pre-professional day program. She will continue her training at DCSA until she leaves for Moscow.
