Join us for an in-depth look at Dance Center of San Antonio’s Pre-Professional Program, Intensives, and Academic Support Program.
We welcome dedicated dancers and their families, ages 8 and up, to learn how DCSA prepares students for professional careers in dance and the performing arts.
DCSA’s Pre-Professional Program was recognized at the #23 spot nationwide in a study by Northeastern University, ranking among the top 5% of training programs in the U.S. DCSA is one of only two programs in Texas to earn this distinction, and the only one in our region.

Daytime Session
12:00 PM: Informational Family Meeting (dancer + family)
1:00 PM: Audition/Observation Class (dancer only)
Audition fee: $25/hr
Observation: free
What to wear: ballet attire, hair in bun (females), hair pulled back if necessary (males).

The DCSA Day Training program has the highest rate of acceptance in the region, launching dancers to the top layer of company schools in the world. Our Daytime Ballet Training Program is for dedicated dancers looking to pursue a collegiate path or a career in dance. The program includes two tracks: classical ballet or contemporary dance.

The DCSA Academic program offers students age 8+ a hybrid-schooling environment to meet their academic goals. The strong curriculum allows them to develop excellent preparation for college, but allows for schedule flexibility so these students can have the best of both worlds - strong academics and time for high profile extra-curricular activities.
This program benefits any student not well-served in traditional school and is not limited to just dancers. It offers:
