Ballet and Tap Ages 3-6

saturday 9:00-10:00 AM

Ballet and Tap classes for Young Dancers are designed to develop creativity, coordination, basic dance movement, and good dance class skills in young dancers. Dancers will learn the basics of dance and movement and gain coordination, flexibility and strength appropriate for their age. Dancers also learn how to dance with the music (quickly or slowly) and different qualities of dance movement (sharp or smooth for example). Most importantly, however, the dancers learn to enjoy dancing and moving while using their imaginations! The Ballet Class for 5-6 year olds will also prepare them to enter DCSA’s Pre-professional level zero!

Our dance classes for young dancers are taught by our top-notch teachers Chelsea Nedrow-Kidder and Carolina Gonzalez!

 Balletics for Boys!

Balletics for Boys

Saturday 11:00 Am -12:00 pm

Balletics class is specifically designed for athletes who want to develop flexibility, coordination and strength that compliments competitive sports and athletics. Many professional athletes take ballet as a method of cross-training as it is known for preventing injury and allowing the athlete to grow in agility and mental focus. Balletics classes are taught by DCSA’s wonderful Edmond Cuiellette. DCSA is excited to be able to provide this kind of training to the San Antonio community!
