We are thrilled to announce that registration for our Winter Ballet Intensive is here!
This five-day intensive is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring dancers to refine their skills and prepare for the upcoming audition season. Whether you're passionate about classical ballet, eager to perfect your pointe technique, or looking to explore contemporary dance, this intensive has something for everyone.
Our Winter Ballet Intensive promises a week of immersive learning and artistic growth. With a curriculum that includes classical ballet lessons, pointe technique, classical variations, contemporary dance, strengthening, and stretching, you'll have the chance to enhance your skills and discover new facets of your dance abilities.

Program Details:
December 27 - December 31, 2025 | 10 am - 4 pm
Cost: $575 Early Bird Ends October 30th
Location: Dance Center of San Antonio
Train with DCSA's award-wining Vaganova certified faculty including award-winning DCSA Artistic Director Vanessa Bessler and top-tier guest instructors.
Full daily schedule for well-rounded training: technique, pointe, partnering, conditioning, variations, contemporary, & more!

Non-refundable, full payment due upon registration. Tuition will not be prorated.

Guest Faculty
Erica Fischbach
Academy Director of Colorado Ballet, Ms. Fischbach enjoyed a 20-year professional career with American Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She previously served as Artistic Director of Southold Dance Theater and is certified in both the ABT Curriculum and the Gyrotonic Method. A sought-after teacher, she has been on faculty at leading summer intensives and currently guest teaches at Indiana University, UNC School of the Arts, and the Cecchetti Council of America.
Peter Merz
Academy Director of Ballet West Academy since 2015, Mr. Merz is recognized as a master teacher whose enthusiastic and encouraging approach has inspired dancers across the globe. A former performer with Dayton Ballet, Louisville Ballet, and Cincinnati Ballet, he has choreographed over 40 original works in the U.S. and abroad. His award-winning choreography blends classical tradition with contemporary innovation, and his teaching emphasizes both excellence and artistry.
